MoonEva (“we”, “us”) is operated by MoonEva, based in Romania. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use https://mooneva.app, why, and what your rights are. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, the name you choose, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account id and profile name.
- Your dreams: the dream descriptions you type or dictate, the interpretations Eva writes, the images generated for them, your chat messages with Eva, and optional details such as birthday or a daily intention.
- Usage data: how many readings, images and chat messages you use, so we can apply plan limits.
- Payment data: if you subscribe, our payment provider Whop processes your payment. We receive your membership status, plan and renewal dates, never your card number.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) kept briefly for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To provide the service: interpret your dreams, generate images, remember your journal, and sync it across your devices.
- To run your subscription and apply free-plan limits.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account (sign-in codes, important changes). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
Legal bases: performance of our contract with you, your consent where you give it, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Artificial intelligence
Dream texts and chat messages are sent to AI models to produce interpretations, replies and images. Our AI provider is WaveSpeed AI, which routes requests to third-party models. We send only what is needed for the reading (your dream text, your first name, and short context from your recent dreams). AI providers process this data to return a result and do not use it to train their models under our agreement with them. Eva's readings are for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Who we share data with
- Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
- Vercel (application hosting and delivery).
- WaveSpeed AI (AI interpretation, chat and image generation).
- Whop (subscriptions and payments).
- Google (only if you choose to sign in with Google).
We never sell your personal data. Some providers are located outside the EU; transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Your dreams and account data are kept for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, everything, including generated images, is deleted immediately from our systems; backups expire within 30 days. Payment records are kept by Whop as required by tax law.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. You can delete your account yourself from the “You” tab. For anything else, email hello@mooneva.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP).
Children
MoonEva is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.
Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and your browser's local storage to keep the app working offline. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
